Maseru, Jan. 16 — King Letsie III says he is grateful for opportunities given to Lesotho during his visit to Finland last year.
This, he said when accepting letters of credence from Finland Ambassador to Lesotho, Mr.Pekka Metso at the Royal Palace on Thursday.
The King said he was grateful for amongst others, the signing of a letter of interest on water development and waste in energy sectors.
“I hope these opportunities will serve to lay strong foundations that would benefit Lesotho” he said, adding that Lesotho benefitted from Finland economically and politically since the South African apartheid era.
