BASIC EDUCATION STRENGTHENING PROJECT BENEFICIARIES ON LAND RECLAMATION

Mafeteng, July 10 — Some beneficiaries of the World Bank Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP) are partaking at the land reclamation project in a bid to enhance their financial status.

This was discovered during a media tour organised by the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development together with the Ministry of Education and Training at  Ha Lets’oara.

Upon arrival at the project funded by the government, the media discovered that the initiative  enables workers to operate interchangeably for a period of a month after which they get their remuneration amounting to M1300.00 each.

In an interview with the Supervisor, Ms. ‘Malehloa Makosholo of Ha Lijane stated that villagers in the vicinity of Ha Lets’oara, especially the needy are partaking in the project.
