A MAN WAS FOUND MURDERED AT A TARVEN

QACHA’S NEK — The residents of Tebellong, Ha-Mapote woke up to a murder crime scene on Saturday morning, as a 23 year-old man was found dead at the tarven in the village.

Ha- Mpote, Chief Lets’abisa Moorosi told the Agency on Monday that the man was found in a pool of blood in the early hours.

He stated that people heard the grandfather and the victim having an argument, the grandfather ended up stabbing the victim with a knife at the tavern.

“I was told that people were still at the tarven  when the incident occurred, people disclosed that they couldn’t intervene since they were too drunk.”

The body was discovered with one wound on the left nipple from a stab wound, said chief Moorosi.

Dectective Sub-inspector Thabo Setenane, Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Manager at Qacha’s Nek Police Station, confirmed that the suspect remains in prison…
