Quthing, May 13 — Nutrition and home economics division in the district department of agriculture and food security has organized district food preservation campaign to be held at Lefikeng Sebapala sports ground, near Sebapala high school in Koali agricultural resource centre on Wednesday.
In an interview, District Nutrition Officer from department of agriculture Mrs. Makabelo Mokhesuoe, said the event on the theme ‘Preserve food increase self-life’, is intended to educate community about importance of food preservation and promotion of proper nutrition.
Mrs. Mokhesuoe said the event will start with a procession from Tongue Block junction on the main road to Mount Moorosi commercial area, to the sports ground near Sebapala high school by different public groups holding placards with massages that encourage community to engage in food production and preserve different food types for balanced diet…..
