DHM EXPRESS NEED FOR JOINED EFFORTS IN SERVICE DELIVERY

Quthing, Dec. 13 — The District Health Manager Dr. ‘Makarants’i Mohlalisi has expressed the need for joint efforts in public service delivery by various service providers.

Addressing attendants at a one-day stakeholders meeting on presentation on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) Project progress report,  held at the District Administrator’s Office premises, Dr. Mohlalisi said Stakeholders teamwork is important in public health service delivery because it helps ensure that health policies and services are inclusive, responsive to needs and of high quality.

She stated that challenges that affect health services delivery are easily identified and addressed timely through a team by stakeholders, thus their team has to be strengthened and promoted for effective service delivery.

Dr. Mohlalisi said different challenges on health service delivery such as males that are reluctant to get services and wait to be in critical stages have been recognized and measures to address the challenges successfully  need joint planning and implementation of the planned activities.
