GERMANY PRESIDENT VISITS LESOTHO 

Maseru, Dec.14 — The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier paid a courtesy call on King Letsie III on Saturday. 

Mr. Steinmeier, who arrived in the country on Saturday morning with his entourage, is on a one day working visit and will leave later today.

After the courtesy call, he is expected to go to Moshoeshoe I statue, and meet with the Deputy Prime Minister Justice Nthomeng Majara and the Minister of Trade, Industry and Business Development, Mr. Mokhethi Shelile at Maseru Avani to discuss amongst others, business opportunities and Lesotho tourism. 

He will further go to Qiloane Hill, Metolong and visit the ReNoka project.

Meanwhile, the Agency has learnt that the King welcomed Mr. Steinmeier himself and is in good health, following reports from his office that he was admitted at Maseru Private hospital on Friday morning and discharged in the afternoon after being observed by medical doctors.
