Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 22 — A week-long Sports Administration Course Level II, organized by the Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) successfully concluded on Friday November 22, with a ceremony that marked a significant step toward strengthening sports leadership in Lesotho.
The course, led by National Course Directors Mr. Moshoeshoe Molapo and Mr. Morake Raleaka ran from November 18 to 22 and culminated in the awarding of certificates to at least 30 sports administrators.
This initiative, aligned with LNOC’s commitment to sports development and celebrating the legacy of Olympic Day festivities in Qacha’s Nek, aimed to equip local sports leaders with essential skills in administration, planning and governance.
LNOC CEO, Mr. Raleaka, emphasized that the course was designed to empower sports leaders at the grassroots level, enabling them to create more effective and sustainable sports initiatives within their communities. “By building stronger foundations in sports administration, we are inspiring a vibrant and sustainable future for sports in Lesotho,” he said during the closing ceremony.
