QACHA’S NEK REVIVES UNITY THROUGH MINISTRIES GAMES

Qacha’s Nek, Nov. 23 — The vibrant energy of teamwork and friendly competition is in full swing as the three-day government ministries’ sports games continue at Melele ground today, marking the second day of action.

The event, which kicked off on Friday, will conclude on Sunday with a series of thrilling competitions, including tug of war, soccer, netball, 100m races, morabaraba, and pool.

In an interview with the Agency, District Administrator Mr. Habofanoe Pheku shared his vision for the event: to bring civil servants together, revive the spirit of sports, and foster a sense of community among colleagues.

“Games bring people together to share something in common,” he emphasized, noting that despite budget constraints, he was determined to make the event happen this year. “I realized the year was coming to a close and with limited resources, I decided to squeeze it in.”
