Mokhotlong, Sept. 03 — Basic Education Strengthening Project (BESP) has expanded its horizons with children under ‘self targeting’ initiative currently being registered for BESP.
This, the Agency established during a media tour commencing this week in Mokhotlong, Butha-Buthe and Leribe led by the Ministries of Education and Training as well as Gender, Youth and Social Development.
In an interview, Social Development Bursary Administrator, Ms. Itumeleng Rapholo said they converged with parents and guardians of children getting school fees assistance from the Ministry under ‘self targeting’ indicating an additional M1500.00 BESP uniform will be issued.
She explained sensitization is meant to educate parents and guardians on how funds should be used in alignment with project goals and objectives.
