Maseru,Nov.09—The first Basotho Mega Music Festival has received positive attention from the nation as a number of Basotho gathered at the Setsoto stadium to witness music performances from local and international artists.
This festival comes in as part of the multiple Bicentennial celebrations that the country held this year.
With the beautiful cool weather allowing the festival mood to kick off, the festival was graced by youth, many dressed in national colours that they said they wish the festival could be one of the activities that the nation can use to reflect on issues on unity, peace and prosperity.
Meanwhile one of the local artists Mr. Tlotliso Monakane who goes by the stage name ‘Phoka ea Boroa’ said being part of this celebration means a lot to him as it gives them hope as musicians.
