Berea, April 11—In celebration of the International Cooperatives Day, exhibitors within Berea district were gathered at Teyateyaneng on Thursday to showcase their different art work, agricultural produce and other income generating projects.
The International Cooperatives Day was marked under the theme, “Cooperatives for Climate Action: Building a Sustainable Future”.
Department of Cooperatives, Commissioner of Cooperatives Mr. Mokheseng Nots’i remarked that cooperatives is one of the easiest business models which is basically aimed to combat different forms of life challenges and some years back it was referred to as a vehicle for development in communities.
