Mohale’s Hoek, Mar. 02 — The Minister of Energy Mahlomola Moleko has urged contractors to pay Laboures on time, to avoid conflicts which might hinder rural electrification operations.
Minister. Moleko was during the launching of Rural Electrification Project at Bulu-Bulu in Mpharane Constituency, where he also urged community members to take care of all materials which will be in the village during installation.
On the other hand, the Ministry’s Principal Secretary Tankiso Phapano pointed out that Government has used about M106, 000 000.00 in the project which will benefit 242 households, and it is expected to be completed in February, 2027.

Furthermore, the member of parliament for Mpharane No:60 Nku Mohlalisi stated that when he was voted in power more than 3 years ago, voters told him that all they needed was electricity and accessibility roads, ” as an MP there is nothing more shameful than failure to bring services to the community which has elected you,” he reiterated.
The Chief of Likueneng Chieftainess ‘Makholu Moshoeshoe expressed her gratitude to the government by asserting that not only community members would benefit in the initiative, but also students and teachers will be able to use internet for learning purposes just like in other schools.
A 93-year-old ‘Mannona ‘Nona, applauded the government by noting that she never thought she would live to see the day when Bulu-Bulu is connected with electricity, and appreciated the government.
The project is set to serve 5 villages, while recruitment of labourers is expected to be on March, 09.
