Maseru, Aug. 25– The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) invites Basotho to enter the tunnel boring machine naming competition which will be on August 28.
According to LHDA, the tunnel is anticipated to arrive in weeks to come and will be given a sesotho name which will live on in the legacy and narrative of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project (LHWP).
LHDA therefore, advised competition participants to align themselves with few of the following when naming the tunnel, the name of the legend from Leribe district or a leader who demonstrated strength, resilience, and dedication to their community, a mosotho scientist or pioneer in science and mathematics who encourages youth to pursue science-related fields. . .
