TEYATEYANENG FARMERS TO ERADICATE SHEEP SCAB

Berea, March 07 — Teyateyaneng Wool and Mohair Growers Association (TWMGA) has embarked on small stock dipping process in a bid to fight sheep scab.

This was revealed by TWMGA Treasurer, Mr. Solomon Molete during an interview with the Agency on Friday.

Mr. Molete said the purpose of the dipping process is to protect small stock against external parasites such as sheep scab, ticks, lice and other infectious diseases which might be found in their wool and mohair.

He said having resumed the activity on Monday this week, the first two days they focused on goats, their aim is to help their affiliate members associations and farmers at individual capacity who do not use Teyateyaneng woolshed. RM/TL
