BUDGETING DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES IS HARD– PUBLIC 

Maseru, Aug. 02 — The Public have expressed their feelings following the adjustment of fuel effective from August 02, saying it is hard to budget during such uncertain times when everything increases. 

According to the Press Release dated August 01, 2023 by the Petroleum Fund, the pump prices of both grades of petrol have increased, petrol 93 has increased by Seventy (M0.70) cents, while petrol 95 has increased by seventy-five (M0.75) cents, diesel has increased by one loti and ten (M1.10) cents, and illuminating paraffin by one loti (M1.00) cents.

The new retail prices are petrol 93 is now M20.50 per litre, petrol 95, M21.00, diesel M20.85 while illuminating paraffin is now M15.50 per litre. 

The Petroleum Fund has appealed to retailers not to charge illegal prices that are different from the gazetted. . .
