NON COLLECTION OF PASSPORTS CHALLENGE – LEBESE

MASERU — Government Assurances Committee Chairperson in the Senate, says non-collection of passports is one of the leading challenges facing Home Affairs in relation to issuance of passports.

This was disclosed by Dr. Thabiso Lebese when presenting report pertaining to issuance of passports and Identity Documents (ID’s) following their visit at the department.

He explained that some of these passports have been issued in 2013 and expired last year and yet are still not collected hence disruption and more inconvenience to the already confused system. . . .
