Maseru, March. 13 – The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Matjato Moteane says, he is aware of roads destruction and deterioration countrywide.
He said this when responding to question 676 pertaining to rehabilitation of the following roads: Peka, through Ha Leboea, Ha Mohlokaqala and Ha Matala, and on to Ha-Tlalinyane; Makhalong, through Kolonyama, Lalasa and on to the Main North One Road.
Others are Kolonyama Setopong, through Manyaneng, Ha Ntsekele and Fobane, and on to Ha Makhata; Likotopong, through Ha Ralehlatsa, and on to Tabola and Ha Kotola, through Pobeng, and on to Ha Seetsa.
According to the Minister, a detailed assessment in relation to these roads meant to establish the extend of the matter and how best to prioritise will be undertaken.
