Berea, July 15 — Members of Lesotho Hotels and Hospitality Association (LHHA) in Berea have said they are enjoying business growth ahead of the Thursday main event when the nation will be celebrating the King’s birthday.
This unfolded during an interview with some of the accommodation establishments around Teyateneng town ahead of the King’s birthday which is set to be celebrated in two days in Berea district such as Bela-Bela for district level and Teyateyaneng at national level.
When approached for a comment, Ka-Pitseng Assistant Manager Ms. Rose Makhoana said King’s birthday has brought them a business, highlighting normally in winter their clientele rate drops.

Ms. Makhoana boldly said their rooms are fully booked and majority of visitors will check out on Friday.
She said although they are fully booked, the unfortunate part is that visitors are just going to spend a few days and as a result they wish that during such national level celebration; visitors can spend at least a
week also exploring places of interest in Berea as part of tourism.
Echoing the same sentiments, Blue Mountain Inn hotel Marketing Officer, Mr. Itumeleng Francis Mokete added that this week’s their rooms are fully reserved for King’s birthday with many locals and with possibilities of international visitors, adding that it is a major boost to the business. . .
