PUBLIC SERVANTS IGNORE PMs CALL ON CLEANING CAMPAIGN

Maseru, Jan. 17 — Although every second Friday of each month is marked as cleaning campaign day in Maseru district as per Prime Minister’s call, civil servants do not turn up as expected.

The Agency discovered this again on Friday during the cleaning campaign led by Ministers at Ha Makhoathi and also discovered the same thing at Borokhoaneng and Khubetsoana amongst others.

It has also learnt that the government always releases a memo prior to the cleaning campaign which informs government agencies and departments as well as respective sectors about the campaign, to ensure active participation. . .
