Qacha’s Nek, Nov.23 — Qacha’s Nek Magistrate Court, Resident Magistrate ‘Mampho Mokoena has sentenced Mr. Keketso Mosoang to five years imprisonment with an option of a M10 000 fine, which he failed to pay for burning to ashes a Mazda Demio car worth M75 000.
Mr. Mosoang was charged with unlawful damage of property of the car which belonged to Mr. Teboho Paneng.
According to the evidence presented in court, Mr. Paneng owed him M5000 and when he demanded it back on September 20, 2023, he told him where to get off.
“I got angry and went straight to his homestead and burnt his car,” he said. . .
