Maseru, Feb.15 — The implementation of the National Reforms and unfavourable business environments are amongst some of the challenges mentioned to be hindering the progression of businesses in Lesotho.
This was said by Mr. Chaba Mokuku of Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) project as a panellist in the inaugural of the Public Private Dialogue which is a frame work intended to addressing short falls that Lesotho is faced with in attempts to probe issues such as youth unemployment, food security and the improvement of quality education.
In these discussions, Mr. Mokuku said that lack of investment laws within the country has been identified as one of the contributing factors towards low investment opportunities in Lesotho.
He mentioned that as to address this issue of low investment opportunities, the implementation of the investment policy comes in highly recommended. . .
