Qacha’s Nek, May 18 — A 35 year-old murder suspect hanged himself in Qacha’s Nek police custody on Friday.
His suicide occured a day before the burial of Mosebetsi Setsibi, a 61 year-old man of Mosaqane whom he alledgedly strangled to death.
The police preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased was last seen on May 05 still intact with no signs of illness.
He was found dead in his bedroom on May 7 after numerous calls to the deceased by the headman rang unanswered.
Investigations led to his arrest on Thursday.
