Maseru, Sept 21 – In an endeavour to educate, coach and mentor youth in the spirit of patriotism, the Diocese of Lesotho – Anglican Church of Lesotho (ACL) has appointed Reverend Colonel Phoka Sean Nkeli as the Chaplain of young people.
The Leader of the church in Lesotho, Bishop Dr. Vicentia Kgabe explained that the presence of children and youth within ACL is a gift from God that needs to be nurtured to grow spiritually and in the spirit of patriotism hence the appointment. She alluded that the intention is to go back to the roots of the church, where talent or vocations were discovered and discerned, thus the church continues to play a pivotal role in inspiring, shaping and anchoring children to become proud Anglicans and responsible citizens as well
