Quthing, Nov. 18 – – At least twenty – six members of community policing forums locally known as Mahokela from different police stations in the district undergone a one-day training on introduction of Lehokela digital solution platform held at a local Lodge in Upper Moyeni on Friday day this week.
Presenting on the Lehokela introduced digital platform, the Lesotho Mounted Police (LMPS) Crime Prevention Trainer from Police headquarters, Sgt. Kamoho Mahanetsa said digital solution platform is intended to assist communities and LMPS to easily navigate observed conflicts and criminal incidents and report such to the community structures and the police.He stated that one should have access to internet to be connected to Lehokela digital platform which is an app that is downloaded from mobile phone and one has to get registered, follow necessary steps to get a and have access to use Lehokela digital app like other common apps such as Facebook and Whatsapp. . .COMMUNITY POLICING FORUMS UNDERGO CRIME PREVENTION DIGITAL PLATFORM
