COUNCILLOR COMPLAINS ABOUT FERTILISER DISTRIBUTION

Botha-Bothe, Jan. 01 — The Community Councilor for ‘Muela, Mr. Paseka Machache has raised concerns over the challenges surrounding fertilizer distribution during this summer cropping season.

He noted that the issue has persisted for the past two years.

In an interview with the Agency, Mr. Machache lamented the difficulties faced by farmers in accessing fertilizers, despite their willingness to cultivate crops for their sustenance.

“The biggest challenge remains the distribution process, which is not functioning properly. Many people are forced to wake up in the early hours of the morning just to queue at the district agriculture offices, where they spend days waiting to secure fertilizers,” he said.
