COURT INCARCERATES MAKHANYA TO 6 YEARS IMPRISONMENT 

Mohale’s Hoek, March, 05 — A 47-year-old man from Qalakheng II Ramabanta Makhanya has on Tuesday been sentenced to 6 years imprisonment without an option of a fine, after being found guilty of breaking into one shack at the bus stop, and half of his sentence was suspended.

Evidence presented before court indicated that Makhanya and his co-accused Katleho Likotsi who reached an outside of court settlement with the complainant, broke into the shack on March, 22 and stole gear oils, perfumes and other car wash accessories, amounting to M28,333.35. together with M230.00 cash.

Makhanya is reported to have tried to sell the items to 4+1 drivers but was apprehended by police after receiving a tip off, and he showed the officers where he had hidden the remaining items, which were discovered at Likhutlong. . .
