CULTURE DILUTION PART OF NUTRITION PROBLEM

Maseru, Jul. 05 — Minister of Justice, Law and Constitutional Affairs, Mr. Richard Ramoeletsi says dilution of culture is partly to blame for the problems of nutrition that Lesotho is facing.

He was officiating a one-day workshop on nutrition for Principal Chiefs. Ramoeletsi said Basotho have adapted to certain ways which are not part of their culture which play a big part in the challenges of nutrition in this country.

He notes that Principal Chiefs are expected to lead campaigns on nutrition policy countrywide to ensure inclusion and correct information dissemination, whose aim he said is to curb stunting and other forms of malnutrition in the country. . .
