Mokhotlong Oct. 11 — World vision Lesotho will embark on the fourth phase of the European Commission’s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid department (ECHO) project in four districts including Mokhotlong.
The objective in this fourth phase of the project is to strengthen coordination and consolidate disaster preparedness of community, district and national capacities for effective disaster preparedness, crisis response and shocks in Lesotho.
Consolidating and Strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction Project Coordinator, Ms. ‘Mamokobo Lebeko said this when briefing stakeholders in disaster risk reduction issues at a meeting held in the district on Wednesday to introduce the fourth phase of the project.
