Mokhotlong, July 17 — For many years that King Letsie III birthday is being celebrated, it is unusual that there is no celebration of such in districts like Mokhotlong this year.
Some members of the public interviewed said even though all roads led to Botha Buthe district for a national celebration of the King’s birthday, district celebration was still significant.
They said that events of a huge magnitude are significant in boosting the economy of the districts which have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and their expectations were to join the King on his birthday anniversary celebration locally.
They however wished the King a happy birthday with the Royal family and Basotho nation in general.
