Maseru, July 17 — Good news for the needy on the King’s birthday is that 102 new houses will be constructed after this year alone after the Disaster Management Authority was allocated M15, 022,041 by the Government of Lesotho.
This was disclosed by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Limpho Tau in his statement he made on state owned Lesotho Television on Tuesday night.
Mr Tau said while 102 new houses will be reconstructed, 41 will be reroofed countrywide.
He explained that in Maseru district, 23 houses will be constructed, in Berea 11 houses will be constructed while in Leribe the same number of houses will be constructed with six houses being reroofed.
