Leribe, Jan. 20 — The Food Distribution which was carried out by District Disaster Management Team (DDMT) Leribe under coordination of Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has been completed.
The distribution was completed on Friday last week at Hlotse, whereby the last food items were allocated to beneficiaries residing within Hlotse Urban Council.
The targeted villages were Lisemeng I, Lisemeng II, Mankoaneng, Ha Tlai Tlai and Ha Molibeli.
Earlier into the distribution around October, November 2024 Mr. Mare Keketsi said the food items including beans, wheat and maize have been bought from Basotho farmers by government to give out to the vulnerable.
