NMDS PRESENTS LOAN REPAYMENT FRAMEWORK BEFORE ECONOMIC COMMITTEE

Maseru, Jan. 20 — Following the Cabinet decision to suspend 50 percent of loan repayment into the Loan Bursary Fund (LBF) for Basotho students in financial need, the National Manpower Development Secretariat (NMDS) came up with a new framework to ensure the fund becomes sustainable.

This transpired at the meeting between the Portfolio Committee on the Economic and Development Cluster and NMDS staged in Maseru on Monday with the objective to discuss the Savingram that was released in September 2023 with regards to suspension of 50 percent of loan repayment..
