DMA MAKES AN ADDITION TO ITS FLEET

Maseru, Jan.17 — As a way of easing everyday errands running of the office, the Disaster Management Authority (DMA) has purchased 3 vehicles which arrived at the authority’s headquarters in Maseru on Friday.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Friday, the CEO of DMA Mr. Reatile Ellias said that this purchase will enable the smooth operation of the office as they rely mostly on movement across the country.

Mr. Ellias said that the authority operates with hired vehicles which normally delay arriving at their offices due to procurement procedures therefore this addition will come in handy.

He indicated that the 3 vehicles, being 2 Toyota twin cab bakkies and one Toyota SUV(Fortuner) were purchased at a value of M2.2 million. . .
