Leribe, Jan. 17 — The Member of Parliament for Maputsoe constituency and Minister of Public Service says cleanliness must be adhered to every time by every citizen.
This, Mr. Mputi Mputi said at District Administrator premises Hlotse in Leribe on Friday.
He indicated that as Leribe being one of the biggest districts with two towns, its residents have to maintain cleanliness.
In addition, Mr. Mputi said Leribe should take cleaning campaign as one of the important initiatives not only as described by the government but be instilled in the residents.
He mentioned that it is sad that Basotho respect cleanliness in countries like South Africa but the moment they cross the border they start littering all over.
The Minister elaborated that all should take responsibility over the environment they live in and avoid pollution. . .
