Quthing, Jan. 17 — The Minister of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition Mr. Thabo Mofosi led public servants during the new year, 2025 cleaning campaign under ‘Operation Boloka Lesotho le Hloekile, in Quthing on Friday.
The public servants, who divided themselves into groups cleaned at different areas in town, that were Upper Moyeni, Cocobe and Lower Moyeni from bus stop to commercial area, and all the groups gathered at Lower Moyeni Pitso at the end of cleaning campaign.
Addressing the public servants, at Lower Pitso ground Mr. Mofosi who is also the Member of Parliament for Moyeni Constituency appealed to the District Administrator and other stakeholders to well organize the event for effective participation of community leaders and the public for sustainability and promotion of ownership of the cleaning campaign.
He highlighted that public officers have their duty to render services to the community and their contributions in the cleaning campaign should be for support and motivation of the community that must always be committed in maintenance of cleanliness in their town. . .
