Mafeteng, April 12 — The Minister of Gender, Youth and Social Development Mr. Pitso Lesaoana says at least more than M6 million has been granted to provide beneficiaries of the Economic Inclusion program with skills to manage their small businesses.
He made the remarks during the official launching of Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project ceremony at Metsi-Maholo Community Council on Friday where he said the main objective of distributing funds is not for the beneficiaries not to consume but to ensure growth of their small businesses.
The Minister said under this project beneficiaries also are provided with assistive devices for disabled children and adults while youth and vulnerable households are provided with funds to start small businesses.
Speaking at the same occasion the Principal Chief of Tebang, Chief Sentle Mojela called on the beneficiaries to ensure that the funds are used accordingly to improve small businesses. MM/TL
