Maseru, May 29 — The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) will host a third monthly flea market in Maseru on Saturday with the number of participants having increased from 200 to over 400 now.
This was disclosed in an interview today, Wednesday by BEDCO Senior Manager Public Relations – Communications, Marketing and Stakeholder Relations, Ms. Mamahapela Mokuoane.
She explained that when they launched the initiative two months ago, only 200 entrepreneurs participated, adding last month a total of over 400 came and exhibited their products and services. “We are hoping that this upcoming flea market will see the numbers increasing more and more”.
She noted that people are not only aware of the initiative now but are also showing keen interest as they get an opportunity to network, share best practices while also increasing their sales.
