FROM TWO SHEEP TO A THRIVING FARM

Berea, April 8 — The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) paid a visit to a young farmer from Mapoteng in the Berea District in order to scout and find out how his farm has been progressing yesterday.

Potjo Morienyane is a passionate farmer who started his farming journey in 2009 with just two sheep.  He sells wool and mohair from the sheep and goats he owns.

Today, he stands as a testament to the power of determination and hard work, managing a thriving farm that employs several workers and provides a steady income.

His success has not gone unnoticed, as he was recently chosen as the sole representative from Lesotho for a visit with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).  MK/TL
