Berea, April 08 — Minister of Natural Resources, Mr. Mohlomi Moleko has reaffirmed the government plan to expand water accessibility and its related services to the communities in dire need of drinking water for an improved life.
Mr. Moleko made the remarks on Monday when unpacking the progress made in regard to improving water availability to the nation during the public gathering staged for the Khokhoba community.
He said their ministry is mandated to ensure that people have access to clean water, but they still have a long way to go to reach out to every community, citing that the current government has inherited the already articulated plans of water expansion projects from previous regimes.
He pointed out that under the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) Phase II, the project has created over 15, 000 job opportunities with possibilities of expansion with sister projects such as Lesotho Lowlands Water Development Projects (LLWDP)…RM/TL
