Berea, Feb 07 — Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (MAFS), through its Teyateyaneng Resource Centre has strongly urged people to invest their time in crop production for healthy living.
When passing remarks on behalf of the Ministry on Wednesday during Teyateyaneng Resource Centre nutrition clubs exhibition held in Berea on Wednesday, District Nutrition Officer Ms. Puleng Molefi said it is important that people grow their food as everything has grown to be expensive lately.
Ms. Molefi said having hosted such an exhibition creates a platform to self-introspect of whether they are leading by good examples in their respective villages when it comes to healthy eating campaigns, therefore she encouraged Basotho to stand united and promote crops production even at household level in order to create a healthy nation. . .
