Maseru, Aug.16—The Ministries of Natural Resources, Local government and that in the Prime Minister’s office held an event for Basotho engaging in the mining of quarry and sand across the country in Maseru on Wednesday.
Speaking at this event, the Chairperson of the National Assembly Natural Resources committee Mr. Moeketsi Mots’oane indicated that this meeting was evoked by the numerous complaints that the miners in the aforementioned category have laid before the relevant ministries on the challenges they meet in the operation of the quarry and sand mining.
