Maseru, June 07 — Minister of Health Mr. Selibe Mochoboroane says the Government has amicably resolved the Public Servants grievances on the mountain allowances.
In his statement he delivered in the National Assembly on Friday, Mr. Mochoboroane said the Cabinet task team led by Deputy Prime Minister Justice Nthomeng Majara as well as the Public Servants working in the mountain areas representatives have agreed that they be given the M1000 mountain allowances in three stages.
He said at the end of June, the Government will give the Public Servants M500 which will later be followed by M750 in the next financial year and that in eventually they will be given the M1000 mountain allowances in the next three years to the 6000 public servants deployed in the mountain areas. . .
