Leribe, July. 10 – Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days and Ha Nyenye community held a prayer service in remembrance of the church members who died on Saturday June 22nd, 2025.
The prayers service that was held on Wednesday follows a second accident which happened in the same spot of Ha Molipa in Kolonyana in a space of 2 days.
The prayer service was held at Hanyenye play ground, following the major prayer service which was held at Ha Molipa on June 27 organised by District Administrator Leribe.
Talking to the agency in an interview on Thursday, Chief Makara Nyenye of Ha Nyenye Maputsoe said the prayer service was organised by pastors from different churches within Ha Nyenye aimed at praying for Ha Nyenye village.
In response to when the deceased will be buried, Chief Makara said they are waiting for forensic results as the deceased are burned beyond recognition.
He reminded that they decided to hold a prayer service as the deceased church is within his area.
Chief Nyenye highlighted that the pastor and his wife are also amongst the deceased hence the prayer service. . . .
