HEALTH EXPERTS URGE MEN TO ACT ON STI

Qacha’s Nek, Oct. 24 — Mrs. Mantolo Moshoeshoe, TB and HIV Senior Counsellor at Machabeng Government Hospital, warned that untreated Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) can lead to infertility in men. 

Speaking on Thursday at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) outreach in Sehlabathebe, Ha Ramats’eliso, she emphasized the urgency of seeking medical help at the first sign of illness.

During the event, part of a humanitarian response project aimed at providing essential Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) services in drought-affected areas, Mrs. Moshoeshoe highlighted that men often delay visiting health centres, increasing their risk of infertility. . .
