Qacha’s Nek, May.16 — The upcoming Day of the African Child (DAC) celebration, set for June 26, 2025, will place children at the forefront, allowing them to express themselves and reflect on the progress made in safeguarding their rights.
Mrs. ’Mantoa Sejake, Manager of Child Protection at the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development, emphasized the importance of child participation during District Child Protection Team (DCPT) meeting held to prepare for the event.
DAC is commemorated annually on June 16, with a theme informed by children’s voices through various consultations. . .
