MOHALE’S HOEK, October 15–Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition and Ministry of Environment and Forestry as well as World Food Program (WFP) met on Wednesday to review the project site activities for Improving Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable and Food-insecure Populations Phase II (IACOV-2).
Mr Nkopo Matsepe, IACOV II Project Coordinator from WFP, highlighted that Adaptation Fund through Climate Financing has approved the continuation of IACOV Phase II in April 2025 and fully funded it through United Nations Convention on Climate Change. Mr Matsepe also indicated that IACOV II will also undergo what is called project inception and implementation within a period of six months using bottom-up planning and decision-making processes so that every member of the project feels included.
