PAC CALLS DUTY FREE BOSS TO ORDER

Maseru, Oct. 15 — The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has on Wednesday during its sitting called the Executive Director of Duty-Free Sourcing Company, Mr. Teboho Kobeli to order for not cooperating.

This after he was hesitant to disclose some information required by the committee, on grounds that he was not bound to and that he did not know what he was called for thus came unprepared.

PAC Chairperson Mrs. Machabana Lemphane Letsie told him he was bound to since he was before the Parliamentary Committee and advised him to cooperate, asking him to disclose the amount of money he used to purchase shares for Duty Free Sourcing Company since he is the majority shareholder as well as when the company would repay the M6.5 Million debt to Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC)  including the interest of 5 percent and an additional default of 2.5 percent…
