Maseru, Nov. 27 — Digital transformation has shown promising performance and is a significant stride in Information Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure.
The Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Dr. Retsélisitsoe Matlanyane said this when presenting the 2024/25 budget midterm review during a joint sitting in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The Minister stipulated that even the Digital Transformation Strategy is a testament to promising performance. “Mobile phones usage and internet penetration provide hope for growth, “she stressed.
According to the Minister, digital transformation plays a major role towards development hence the Fiscal Budget had shown commitment in this regard.
