MASERU — A lawyer respresenting Retired Army Commander Lieutanant General Tlali Kamoli, Advocate Letuka Molati says it is not true that his client authorised an operation to arrest the late Maaparankoe Mahao on June 25, 2015.
This he said during cross-examination of Lance Corporal Ntai Mosaku in an ongoing trial against nine members of the army who are charged with the murder of Mahao.
Adv. Molati added that it is also not true that a team that was responsible for the investigations and arrests on mutiny suspects reported to Kamoli.
He further added that it is also not true that Hashatsi, Sechele and Phaila regularly reported to Kamoli and took instructions from him.
He put it to the witness that it is not true that Kamoli continued to command the army after his term expired. . .
