Maseru, July 29 — Retired Army Commander Lieutenant General Tlali Kamoli who is one of the accused in the murder of Maaparankoe Mahao has on Monday, through his lawyer, expressed his unhappiness about articles published on him by the Lesotho Times Newspaper.
Adv. Molati told the court that his client is under a constant and deliberate ridicule by the Lesotho Times Newspaper.
He pointed out that in the June 27 – July 10 issue, the newspaper has among others reported that ‘Kamoli was arrested and charged in 2017 for the murder of Mahao’.
He added that it is also stated in the article that Kamoli has died while the truth is that he is alive and standing trial for several charges against him.
